Claritas Turns Over New Stone

Or Twelve, to be exact.

Claritas Capital has pumped $3.35 million into TwelveStone Health Partners, a Murfreesboro-based company that delivers pharmaceutical and medical equipment to post-acute care patients.

TwelveStone will use the cash to spread southeastward, expanding into the Chattanooga market by the end of the quarter.

Claritas, led by John Chadwick, Theresa Sexton and Don McLemore, has made 51 equity investments, a lot of them healthcare oriented, since the firm opened in 2002. As for their list of honorable mentions, Claritas invested in a small hospital company you may have heard of named HCA before it went public (again) in 2010. We’re guessing that was a pretty solid pick.
