Managing Advisor

The Managing Advisor (MA) is the day-in and day-out steward of the agency-client relationship and manages client planning, implementation and reporting. The MA is responsible for driving the client services team toward on-time and on-strategy completion of program deliverables and commitments. The MA serves as the client team’s daily go-to person on operational direction, tactical challenges, priority alignment, and client relations support.

Primary Responsibilities:

Client Service

  • Daily client/team advising and communications
  • Create/review/edit client materials
  • Develop and implement programs against objectives and strategies
  • Monthly/weekly planning/tracking toward client objectives, including timely communications to team members
  • Maintain quality, on-time deliverables
  • Identify opportunities for continuous quality improvement
  • Implement program measurement tools

Business Development

  • Identify opportunities to grow existing client business
  • In collaboration with Practice Leader or Vice President, contribute and participate in new business pitches
  • Proposal development for targeted opportunities
  • Ensure appropriate colleagues are brought into organic growth opportunities

Firm Management

  • Capture and transfer best practices in key client management
  • Actively participate in appropriate firm management meetings and/or discussions
  • Ensure billable target goals are met and delivered in timely manner
