Thought Leadership Manager
Jarrard Phillips Cate and Hancock Inc. is seeking a communications professional with strong writing, editing, news and media relations skills with at least four years of experience to create thought leadership content for the firm as well as write and edit client-facing communication materials.

This position focuses on writing a variety of content, managing publications, handling media and social media for the firm. In addition, this professional will work occasionally as a subject matter expert with clients desiring thought leadership strategy.

Write and manage the firm’s regular High Stakes blog and our bi-monthly Art of Change online thought leadership. AOC features original reporting on thinking from the best minds in the healthcare industry. This professional would be responsible for collaborating with firm leadership to write content while working with our creative department on design and our marketing analytics expert to track its success.
Develop and ensure execution of a media outreach campaign that includes pitching stories and seeking placement of content for key firm executives in trade media, as well as Nashville and Chicago media. Create, if desired, an in-house media team to coordinate outreach.
Be primarily responsible for planning and executing an engaging social media.
Write the occasional client briefing on significant trends impacting healthcare communications, working in tandem with our thought leadership executives.
Be available to write other firm-related material, including press releases, submitted media, speaking proposals, collateral materials, web copy, presentations and short case studies based on interviews with team members.
Work with clients, as needed, on thought-leadership strategy and content development.
