Prior to joining Jarrard, MacDonald served in multiple roles within the Mission Integration Department of CHRISTUS Health. Previously, MacDonald held positions within Centura Health, where she led implementation of Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), a nationally recognized, evidence-based mental health curriculum. Through these efforts, Centura Health was the first health system in Colorado to address the state’s high rates of suicide and depression.

She also volunteers with Women Called Moses, a domestic violence shelter in Dallas, Texas.
