Weis guides clients to understand the correlation between associate engagement and patient experience, helping maximize those efforts to promote brand loyalty. Earlier in her career, she worked with a collaborative team to implement the Planetree philosophy of patient-centered care, and within four years, the hospital became one of only 28 Planetree-designated hospitals in the world. This work fueled her flame to keep the patient first and foremost in every strategy she develops, and earned her an international Spirit of Planetree award.
She is a recognized expert in the subject, having served as a panelist with national health care leaders on processes and insights used to guide human brand experiences.
Before joining Jarrard Inc. in 2019, Charmaine was the director of marketing and communications for SCL Health, a faith-based not-for-profit health system in Colorado where she was instrumental in shaping the culture of Platte Valley Medical Center. In 2018, Platte Valley became the number one hospital within the 8-hospital system for the highest level of engaged associates.
Prior to her work in healthcare, Charmaine was a partner in a marketing, communications and public relations agency.
Weis is a member of the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development and has a bachelor’s degree in mass communications and marketing and a master’s degree in management and leadership.
