Over his career, Hughes has worked closely with patients, frontline staff and executive leadership to execute organizational priorities and change initiatives. This wide perspective and his focus on sustainable change and clear communication with stakeholders renders him a valued partner to the clients he serves. Navigating change is one of his clear fortes.
Prior to joining Jarrard in 2020, Hughes held several roles during nearly a decade at Northwestern Medicine. Most recently, he led the workforce health and safety team where he optimized employee safety programming, built a workforce safety culture and collaborated closely with senior leadership to meet top industry performance. Before that, Hughes was a psychotherapist and treated adults and teens in the outpatient behavioral health program. Leveraging his group facilitation and change management skills, he later joined the Performance Improvement Office to lead process improvement initiatives across five hospitals and a medical group.
Jon earned a bachelor’s degree from Taylor University, a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Wheaton College and an executive master’s in healthcare business administration from Loyola University Chicago. He also holds an LCPC and is Green Belt Lean Six Sigma Certified.
