Over the years, he has earned a reputation as a trusted partner and adviser to hospitals and health systems, particularly on the East Coast, from Maine to Florida. Prior to his affiliation with the firm, he served as chief growth officer for Physicians Equity Resource Advisors, LLC., a boutique consulting firm headquartered in New York. There, he advised private physician groups on a variety of subjects regarding structure, strategy, investment and equity vehicles and helped navigate complex M&A opportunities.
McNeal began his career in healthcare IT sales and sales management at Kronos Inc. and Cerner. In 2000, he transitioned into a business development executive and leader within clinical outsourcing and M&A with TeamHealth, DaVita and Sound Physicians. His focused specifically within the practice areas of emergency medicine, anesthesiology and hospitalist/intensivist.
He also served as a member of the Florida Board on Healthcare Information and Infrastructure during Governor Jeb Bush’s Administration.
McNeal attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX and graduated from Transylvania University in Lexington, KY with a political science degree. He also holds a certificate in disruptive strategy from Harvard University Business School.
