Taylor Stanford is a skilled, passionate and strategic communicator with nearly a decade of public affairs and project management experience. Having worked in both the public and private sectors, she is able to navigate highly regulated environments, engage stakeholders at all levels and develop unique campaigns that position our clients to achieve their most important business goals.

Prior to joining our firm, Stanford was a senior account supervisor with Res Publica Group, a Chicago-based public affairs and strategic communications firm where she counseled C-suite executives and communications teams on a wide variety of reputational issues, including crisis management, employee engagement and M&A. Previously, she worked as a project manager for a leading pharmaceutical marketing and advertising firm.

Stanford began her career on Capitol Hill, serving as the communications director and a legislative aide to U.S. Representative Sue Myrick (NC-09). While in D.C., she crafted traditional and digital communications strategies to reach constituents and media outlets during high-profile events, including the 2008 economic crisis and passage of the Affordable Care Act. She also managed campaign outreach in 2008 and 2010, leading to successful re-elections.

She earned her Bachelor’s of Arts degree in journalism and mass communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a co-president of the UNC Alumni Association – Chicago and volunteers her time with the Alzheimer’s Association.
