Prior to joining Jarrard, Boggs worked as a program coordinator in the Department of Medical Social Sciences at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. While there, she managed faculty affairs for the department, coordinated four research hubs and assisting with licensing and distributing patient-reported outcomes measures. Boggs was also an active member of Feinberg’s Staff Development and Engagement Committee, as well Medical Social Sciences’ Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Action Committee, regularly organizing events for both groups.
Boggs earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in English literature from Roosevelt University in Chicago and holds a Master of Science in health communication from Northwestern University. During her graduate program, Boggs’ research focused on creating health communication tools for individuals with struggling with both literacy and health literacy.
