Prior to joining Jarrard, Tedesco served in various roles at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, including direct leadership of multidisciplinary teams and cross-functional programs. Her work included leading the rebranding and modernizing of Ohio State’s perinatal education program; creation of a women and infants nurse float pool; streamlining the hospital’s OB/GYN resident clinic operations and staffing model; and collaborating with community organizations to address health disparities. She also led efforts that help the organization increase its nurse engagement scores.
Previously, Tedesco worked at UCLA Medical Center, Prentice Women’s Hospital, and Prisma Health in South Carolina. Beyond the bedside, other achievements include several medical journal publications.
Tedesco holds a Bachelor of Science in nursing from The University of Iowa and a Master of Science in nursing leadership from The University of Michigan. In her graduate program, Tedesco’s work included policy development and patient safety initiatives.
