Treadway joined Jarrard Inc. after almost two decades as a strategic communicator, change agent and leader in diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging initiatives at both Vanderbilt University and Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Throughout her career within healthcare and higher education administration, she spearheaded evidence-based initiatives to foster inclusion and belonging and directed initiatives around strategic planning, behavioral health, social determinants of health and community engagement and partnerships. Her background in higher education has served as a foundation for understanding complex social dynamics and implementing effective strategies for organizational change.
Treadway holds a master’s degree from Emory University and a doctorate from Vanderbilt University in religious studies, with an emphasis on civilizations of the ancient world, storytelling and collective imagination. She is passionate about reducing barriers to care and health inequities within marginalized communities and has served on numerous boards for LGBTQIA+-serving non-profit organizations, including the Human Rights Campaign and Tennessee Pride Chamber.
