Mandi Kane brings 14 years of healthcare communications expertise to Jarrard Inc.’s Regional Practice.

There, she focuses on media relations and crisis management, leveraging her years of front-line experience working with health system leadership to navigate difficult issues, run engagement campaigns and build and sustain positive relationships with local communities and media contacts.

Before joining the firm in 2018 as a senior managing advisor, Kane was the media relations director for Nevada-based agency MassMedia Corporate Communications and its subsidiary, MassMedia Health. While there, she led public relations initiatives that elevated visibility, shaped perception and drove patient acquisition for multiple regional and national accountable care organizations, including the largest medical group in Southern Nevada.

Prior to MassMedia, Kane managed public relations for CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico where she developed strategy to shape perception while supporting various labor relations and crisis communications matters. Kane also led communications and media relations efforts for healthcare organizations throughout New Mexico, including Lovelace Clinic Foundation, the New Mexico Health Information Collaborative, the New Mexico Health Informational Technology Regional Extension Center and ABQ Health Partners. She began her career at Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque.

Kane has served as president of Public Relations Society of America chapters in both Nevada and New Mexico and currently chairs the Young Professionals committee for PRSA Nashville. She is a member of the Junior League of Nashville and serves on the Associate Board for the Nashville Symphony.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of New Mexico.
