Allyson Carr helps healthcare organizations navigate complex change by aligning leaders, engaging stakeholders and equipping teams to adopt new strategies, structures, technologies and ways of working.
Carr designs and executes change management and communications strategies that build trust, strengthen engagement and accelerate organizational transformation. She specializes in helping leaders communicate through uncertainty, translate complex initiatives into clear, actionable messages and create alignment that moves organizations from awareness to adoption.
Over her career, she has developed enterprise change management strategies, leadership activation programs, communications and engagement plans, readiness assessments, stakeholder engagement initiatives, training curricula, message platforms and measurement frameworks.
Carr has guided health systems through significant organizational shifts – including physician compensation redesign and enterprise transformation initiatives, leading strategic communications and leader engagement efforts during health system conversions, designing onboarding and integration strategies for facility acquisitions, facilitating leadership alignment workshops, conducting organizational assessments and developing toolkits that help leaders confidently guide teams through change.
Prior to joining Jarrard, Carr served as director of rehabilitation in post-acute care facilities, where she led teams through ownership and leadership transitions, reimbursement and regulatory changes and an enterprise electronic health record implementation. With more than 16 years of experience as a clinician and healthcare leader across post-acute, long-term care, home health and outpatient settings, she brings a practical understanding of how change affects the people responsible for delivering care every day.
Carr holds a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration from Grand Canyon University and a master’s in health communication from Northwestern University. She also holds a certificate in diversity, equity and inclusion from the University of South Florida.
