She is a seasoned healthcare professional with over 16 years of experience managing change within health services companies. Carr has extensive experience in developing patient-centered care journeys, supporting Accountable Care Organizations, collaborating with key stakeholders to improve outcomes, ensure customer and boost employee retention and satisfaction.
Her passion lies in using the art and science of health communication to drive change and increase employee and patient engagement in order to help healthcare providers grow their organizations and improve the wellbeing of patients they serve.
Prior to joining Jarrard Inc., Carr served as Director of Rehabilitation for a physical therapy practice. There, she oversaw management and ownership changes, reimbursement models and regulatory requirements, and helped shepherd the organization through an EHR transition.
She began her career as a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant working in outpatient centers, home health, adult day centers, assisted living facilities, sub-acute care, and long-term care facilities. She spent 7 years in management roles in both sub-acute and long-term care settings.
Carr holds a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration degree from Grand Canyon University and a Master of Science in Health Communication degree from Northwestern University. She is a member of the Society for Health Communication and the Society for Participatory Medicine.
