From print to social media, Metz combines his experience and discernment to reaching the right audiences with the right messages.
Metz began his career at PMT Publishing in Mobile, Alabama, as assistant editor for Mobile Bay Magazine. There, he developed an engaged readership through his stories and active presence on social media. In addition to serving as a regular contributor to business magazines, Metz’s background also includes work for Marketing 24/7 Inc., providing strategic communications with the launch and branding of healthcare startups.
Active in the local community, Metz serves as chairman for the associate board of STARS, a Nashville-based nonprofit that supports young people through social and emotional obstacles. Each year he mentors local high school seniors through tnAchieves. He is also a member of the Nashville Emerging Leaders class of 2017.
Metz graduated summa cum laude from the University of Alabama’s public relations program. During his time at UA, he served as a founding editor for the campus’s first digital newspaper.
