With a background in strategic communications and public affairs, Gladis Valdivia-Hernandez offers Jarrard clients particular expertise in messaging, stakeholder engagement and media strategy. Having worked across healthcare, technology and government sectors, she excels in helping organizations navigate complex challenges through clear and effective communication.
A member of The Advisor Group at Jarrard, her passion for leveraging communications to drive meaningful change is evident and permeates her thoughtful consulting work.
Prior to joining Jarrard, Valdivia-Hernandez served as a communications specialist at the University of Chicago, where she developed and executed strategic communication initiatives for IT Services. Her work included managing social media content, leading outreach campaigns and collaborating with senior leadership to craft impactful messaging.
Her experience also includes roles in public affairs and government relations at McGuireWoods Consulting and Teneo, where she tracked legislative developments, compiled industry news briefings and supported corporate strategy initiatives.
Valdivia-Hernandez holds a degree from Northwestern University in global health and social policy.
