Associate Vice President

Elizabeth Middleton offers Jarrard’s clients savvy counsel based on two decades of experience helping mission-driven organizations engage and motivate their stakeholders. Her healthcare expertise includes philanthropic development, strategic communications and organizational change. She is known for her creative problem-solving acumen and collaborative, empathic leadership.

Before joining Jarrard in 2024, Middleton served in organizational transformation and employee communications for Endeavor Health, Illinois’ third-largest health system. As the communications business partner for the HR executive leadership team, she led internal communications strategies for a new employee benefits program, a new job titling structure and the implementation of the Workday enterprise resource management system. As a ProSci® Certified Change Practitioner, Elizabeth also collaborated with C-suite executives across the system to develop and execute change management and communications plans for the implementation of new organizational leadership structures.

Middleton is also a seasoned philanthropic development professional who has held leadership roles at NorthShore Hospitals Foundation, part of Endeavor Health; the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) Office of Advancement and Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago Foundation. Her extensive experience includes grateful patient direct-marketing programs, donor proposals for transformational gifts, donor recognition programs and working with leaders to define and articulate philanthropic priorities.

She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Roosevelt University In Chicago.
