Carrie Douglas
Senior Advisor
Coupling her passion for and professional background in healthcare, Carrie Douglas is dedicated to ensuring healthcare is accessible and equitable for everyone.
With experience in a variety of health initiatives from grassroots to the federal level, Douglas draws upon her expertise to create captivating messages for Jarrard’s clients.
Prior to joining Jarrard in 2025, Douglas supported AmeriCorps communications strategy where she led campaigns, satellite media tours and speech writing for a variety of projects including Public Health AmeriCorps and Youth Mental Health Corps. Douglas also worked at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services supporting public affairs efforts for the We Can Do This campaign and the 988 Lifeline launch in region 10.
Douglas attributes her keen interest in public health and advocacy to her time as a Peace Corps volunteer in Zambia, where she held afterschool literacy and health programs. Originally from the Chicagoland area, Douglas earned her bachelor’s in communications from Appalachian State University.
