Marketing Intern

We are seeking a recent college graduate interested in a full-time paid marketing internship with one of the nation’s fastest-growing and top-ranked healthcare strategic communications consulting firms. This role will support the firm’s promotions team, which comprises our internal and external marketing functions, creative and design team, thought leadership and business development. The firm promotions team is focused on growing and elevating the firm.

Candidates who are eager to learn with a thirst to contribute rather than observe, are encouraged to apply.

We accept interns for the spring, summer and fall in our Brentwood, Tenn. office. Internship length is generally three months. All internships are paid.

Qualifications/Skills

Qualified candidates are recent college graduates pursuing a career in marketing, public relations or business/healthcare communications. Must write well, present well, demonstrate professionalism, happily perform interesting – and the occasional mundane — tasks, and work well in a fast-paced, collaborate environment, with an eclectic team.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook)
  • Solid understanding of marketing/communications fundamentals, channels and tactics
  • Ability to multi-task, take initiative and absorb information quickly
  • Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills

Examples of Responsibilities

  • Support the firm promotions team in various administrative tasks:
    • Assist with drafting/maintaining team documents, such as meeting agendas, recaps and plans
    • Traffic various projects
  • Support business development team with research reports, assistance with pitch/ presentation needs and conference/event coordination and planning
  • Assist with maintenance and reporting of sales pipeline, marketing analytics and contact database
  • Assist editorial team in managing and measuring content and promotional channels, including blog, social media and podcast
  • Bring new ideas to the table for production and promotion of content

Communications Interns

Qualified candidates must write well, present well, demonstrate professionalism, happily perform interesting – and the occasional mundane — tasks, and work well in a high-stakes campaign environment with our eclectic team. Candidates who are eager to learn, have an interest in the healthcare industry and have a thirst to contribute instead of observe are encouraged to apply. We accept interns for the spring, summer and fall in our Nashville-area and Chicago offices. All internships are paid.
