Change Management Communications for Key Children’s Hospital Department

THE CHALLENGE

After overhauling its Digital and Technology Services Department and processes, a leading children’s hospital in the Northeast needed a change management approach to effectively communicate new departmental strategies, engage stakeholders and establish a new governance structure across the hospital.

THE SOLUTION

We provided communications support to introduce the new functions, developed pre- and post-launch engagement strategies for end users, constructed a month-by-month implementation plan to track progress and trained 18 DTS leaders on communicating.

THE RESULTS

DTS leaders held 15 internal road shows to share changes with clinical and operational stakeholders. By keeping communications channels active and open over the timeline, the team was able to ensure users successfully adapted to the changes.
