Cade Klimek uses his background in public health to shape communication products into accessible, engaging materials. His attention to detail and plain language expertise elevate content for a variety of audiences.

Before joining Jarrard, Klimek worked in public health communications and marketing at Research Triangle Institute International, a non-profit scientific research institute. His work there spanned the breadth of communication activities for federal agencies, including digital marketing and content development. He led a variety of efforts to reach various priority groups to improve HIV prevention and care, occupational health and risk communication. Through his work, he also developed a strong background in plain language writing for patient and provider materials.

Klimek holds bachelor’s degrees in English and journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While at UNC, he contributed to marketing and communications activities at the Carolina Population Center and the North Carolina Budget and Tax Center.
