He delivers thoughtful, strategic solutions, focusing primarily on strategic planning, project alignment and content development.
Shepherd leverages his expertise to guide Jarrard’s clients through critical organizational milestones, including complex financial transactions, periods of rapid growth or contraction, crises and the launch of new companies.
Prior to joining the firm, Shepherd was vice president of communications and marketing for ScionHealth, a $3.6 billion national health system that launched in December 2021. Reporting directly to the CEO and overseeing a team of over 30 full-time employees, he provided strategic counsel to the executive leadership team on internal and external communications, marketing, social media, reputation and brand management and community relations.
Shepherd’s career highlights also include leading enterprise-wide internal communications and divisional sales support for Kindred Healthcare. Additionally, he spent more than a decade overseeing internal communications for Caesars Entertainment Corporation, the world’s largest gaming entertainment company at the time, with multiple brands and over 65,000 employees at approximately 50 locations worldwide.
Shepherd holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from DePauw University.
