And it’s sweeping providers and payers in a forceful current that leaves them vulnerable to opportunistic politics, damaging misinformation and swift moving, cost-minded competitors.
In our latest national consumer survey, developed by Jarrard’s Market Research & Insights (MRI) team, we explore public views on healthcare, health policy, and healthcare organizations, specifically measuring:
- Overall perception of the direction of healthcare in the U.S. today
- Concerns about cost-related challenges, from paying for medications to delaying care due to cost
- Confidence and trust in provider organizations
- Expectations for the effects of healthcare policy, including enhanced ACA subsidies, Medicaid and 340B
What we see is that, even though concerns about cost and affordability and the motivations of healthcare organizations are significant, there are real opportunities to (re)build public support and leverage it to meet today’s challenges.
