The role of the Digital Strategist is a foundational role to not only our Digital team but to the firm. Strategists at this level serve on multiple client teams as the teams’ go-to person, responsible for day-to-day implementation and project management of digital programming and tactics. This role is part of the Digital + Design Group and will service clients across the firm who engage us for their strategic and tactical digital needs.

Role Overview

The role of the Digital Strategist is a foundational role to not only our Digital team but to the firm. Strategists at this level serve on multiple client teams as the teams’ go-to person, responsible for day-to-day implementation and project management of digital programming and tactics. This role is part of the Digital + Design Group and will service clients across the firm who engage us for their strategic and tactical digital needs.

Responsibilities

Client Service

  • Contribute to development, coordination and implementation of digital marketing and communication strategies
  • Support digital and advisor teams with daily project management, client communications and coordination, agenda management and more
  • Create original digital content for clients’ online properties, including social media, blogs, emails, internal communications, brand messaging, etc.
  • Monitor and manage social media channels on client’s behalf
  • Measure analytics and develop reports for client projects and campaigns
  • Brainstorm and help implement creative ideas to support client campaigns
  • Support internal thought leadership efforts, as needed
  • Conduct weekly self-planning and time management activities
  • Manage various logistics and tactical implementations of projects
  • Proactively research social media and digital trends and best practices to incorporate into client work
  • Gain an increasingly sophisticated understanding of industry and competitor issues and trends relevant to client markets, the healthcare industry and service category
  • Offer proactive, value-added suggestions to enhance client work (i.e.: asking the right questions, managing up to ensure deliverables are met in a timely manner, etc.)
  • Timely reporting to manager, colleagues, team lead
  • Implement other tasks as assigned by manager or team lead

Qualifications and Desired Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as public relations, communications, marketing
  • Have 1-2 years’ experience in related field
  • Have a high level of organization, accountability and attention to detail
  • Enjoy writing, especially for digital platforms
  • Exhibit an active interest in staying abreast of digital trends, patterns and tools, and be willing to serve as a digital expert within the firm
  • Maintain a “digital first” mindset to support team growth
  • Demonstrate quality deliverables/thinking/program implementation
  • Work independently and work well with multiple teams, with natural collegiality and desire for collaboration
  • Seek out growth opportunities with curiosity and passion
  • Come in hungry to learn and contribute
  • Preferred experience with:
    • Google Analytics & Tag Manager (preferred but not required)
    • HubSpot or similar CRM system (preferred but not required)
    • SEMrush or similar SEO tool (preferred but not required)
    • Social media analytics (preferred but not required)
  • Be adept at managing multiple priorities and switching gears throughout the day as needed
