Erlanger Health System, one of the nation’s largest public non-profit hospital systems, wanted to pursue converting to a private 501(c)(3), which would require new local and state legislation. They needed a smart internal and external communications campaign that would garner support for the change while explaining a complex legal process to the public and navigating a fiercely political environment.
