This survey points to the public’s view of what it means to be a good community partner. It defines in a new way why it’s important for provider organizations to be a good community partner. And it reveals what they can expect if they’re viewed as a good community partner.
Importantly, those who strongly believe hospitals are good community partners and contribute to a better, healthier society are far more likely to advocate, support and act when it matters – far more than those who only somewhat agree or feel neutral.
That belief is not only important for reputation. It also directly builds trust and shapes behavior, driving advocacy and ultimately influencing choice.
